MB1 BSO Portal

The following standards define what it means to represent the MB1 brand on-site at BSO. All staff are expected to adhere to these values as a condition of ongoing placement.

  • Preparedness: Arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to lead. Know your plan before your shift starts.

  • Engagement: Be mentally present, initiate conversations, and participate actively. You are not a bystander.

  • Professionalism: Maintain respectful, confident communication. Avoid slang, complaining, or gossip.

  • Initiative: Always have a backup activity or challenge prepared. Look for ways to add value.

  • Brand Stewardship: You are the face of MB1. Uphold our mission, speak to our methods, and promote our tools.

  • Technology Use: Personal phone use should be minimal and never during client-facing time.

  • Documentation: All logs, forms, and client notes must be completed during or immediately after the shift.

Engagement Tools

Our MB1 Engagement Tools are designed to boost interaction and accountability at BSO through weekly mindset challenges, HRV tracking, and live leaderboards. These resources help our team lead with energy, track impact, and promote mental performance in a fun, measurable way.

On Going Task
HRV-Hero

The goal is to see who can get the highest coherence score using the HeartMath HRV monitor. Participants will complete a 3-minute guided breathing session while wearing the HeartMath sensor, and their coherence score will be recorded by the MB1 staff member running the session. The highest-scoring individual of the week earns the title of “HRV Hero” and is featured on the leaderboard. Multiple attempts are allowed, but only one official score per day will be counted.

Why We Use the HRV Hero Challenge

"This challenge isn't just a competition—it’s a performance tool. HeartMath tracks something called heart rate variability (HRV), which reflects how well your body and nervous system recover from stress. The coherence score shows how synchronized your heart rhythms are with your breathing and mental focus. A higher score means you're in a more optimal state for clear thinking, quick reactions, and emotional control—exactly what high-performance jobs like this demand."

"Training your HRV through breathwork builds resilience and recovery. That means fewer stress spikes, better sleep, sharper focus, and staying cool under pressure. The more you practice, the faster your body learns to self-regulate. So this is a fun way to compete—but also a tool for mental readiness that helps you win the next real-world moment that actually counts."
